The AUTOOL SC301 is an intelligent coolant pressure tester and leak detector designed for professional workshops and DIY enthusiasts. It automates the process of cooling system leak detection, radiator flushing, and coolant refilling – saving you time, reducing mess, and improving diagnostic accuracy. This all-in-one solution features a built-in pressure gauge, 12V-powered water pump, and universal compatibility with radiator systems. Whether you’re chasing an elusive coolant leak or refilling after repairs, the SC301 simplifies the job with clean, efficient performance. __ Key Features Detects leaks in cooling systems and radiator circuits Built-in water pump for automatic coolant refill Pressure gauge for accurate real-time diagnostics Compatible with most cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans Efficient flushing removes air pockets and residue No need to manually squeeze coolant hoses Transparent test cylinder to monitor fluid flow Lightweight and portable—ideal for workshops or mobile techs Durable build with easy-connect quick couplers Safe for use with glycol, antifreeze, and water-based fluids __ Use Cases Detect hairline cracks in radiators or hoses Refill coolant without introducing air bubbles Flush old coolant and trapped debris efficiently Maintain consistent cooling pressure after repairs Diagnose failed water pumps or gaskets Perfect for vehicle service centers and home garages __ How To Use Part 1: Basic Operation Power the unit via a 12V car battery or DC supply. Choose between Testing Mode or Filling Mode—only one can be active at a time. Select vacuum level: -35KPa, -40KPa, or -45KPa. The system automatically performs pressure testing or coolant filling based on the selected mode. If Testing Mode fails to reach the desired vacuum within 2 minutes, it will enter pressure-hold mode and trigger a fault alert. Part 2: Leak Testing Mode No need to start the vehicle. Open the drain valve (parallel to the air hose = open). Connect the air hose to an external compressor. Power on the device (buzzer will confirm activation). Select vacuum level and press [Start/Stop] to begin testing. The unit will vacuum the system and then hold pressure for 60 seconds. Leak status will be shown via LED: Green = No leak Red = Leak detected Part 3: Coolant Filling Mode Start by opening the drain valve. After leak testing, switch to Filling Mode. Insert the coolant inlet hose into your coolant container. Select vacuum gear level (avoid highest on older vehicles). Press [Start/Pause] to begin vacuuming. Once done, coolant filling will start automatically. Press [Stop] once the fill is complete and disconnect the adapter. Part 4: Draining Residual Coolant Disconnect the connector from the vehicle. Close the drain valve (turn downwards). Press and hold the Tester Mode [Start] button until the buzzer sounds, then release. Press the Tester Mode [Start] again to clean the internal hoses—coolant will discharge from the fill port. When no more liquid flows, press [Stop], turn off the power, and disconnect the air hose.
